As far as I can tell, "Little Drummer Boy" was written by the trio of Davis, Onorati and Simeone and was first recorded in 1955 by the Von Trapp Family Singers. God bless that Von Trapp family. Anyway, other versions of this song I've always loved are by The Ray Conniff Singers, Mr. Jimmy Hendrix, Mr. Bob Seger, and the always powerful Miss Gladys Knight. Of course, there is that Bing Crosby and David Bowie team-up thing which is quite entertaining. I recommend you check them all out as they are all wonderful.
