Here is the creator Ross Bagdasarian aka David Seville and his Chipmunks singing their 1958 #1 smash novelty hit. Ross B. is also the guy who recorded the Witch Doctor. His record label (Liberty Records) needed a follow up single from him so he came up with "The Chipmunk Song". Alvin and the Chipmunks are back at it again in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel but this time around they have some serious competition from The Chippettes. The story picks up during the Chipmunks' concert. Dave Seville (Jason Lee) suffers a severe injury and is rushed to the hospital.
