Based on the purposed Sonic the Hedgehog (Satam) reboot show by Matt Sullivan, and an interpretation of the story line by Sam Boettner and myself: jarredspekter.deviantart.com What I was going for here was to present my dream version of this show, not necessarily the direction it will eventually go in. My ideal would be a happy medium between the energetic and colorful games as well as the deep characterization and surprisingly dramatic story-line of the Archie Sonic comics. This intro is for the second season story line my friend Zarothaa from deviant art and I dreamed up. The story line? After Sonic and the Freedom Fighters defeated Dr. Robotnik and he and Sally Acorn are crowned king and queen, fourteen years of peace fall on Mobius. But all this is shattered with the fanatical cult of the Dark Oak descends in their star-ships and threatens to destroy not only Mobius but the entire universe. Sonic must form a new resistance in the ruins of Robotropolis. Old enemies will join forces, friends will be pushed apart, and a much darker adventure will begin: The Dark Inquisition. In keeping with the theme of my other intro, this theme song is also Celldwelller (or at least a Celldweller remix) called Propane Nightmares.
