Carlos NUNEZ est un grand de la musique celtique. Au-delà, c'est un musicien visionnaire, qui ne ce cesse de défricher des horizons nouveaux. Comme ont pu le faire les Chieftains sur de nombreux albums, Carlos excelle à mettre en lumière les connexions qui unissent des traditions musicales, comme il le fit dès son second album « Os Amores Libres » sorti en 1999 (qui a atteint des ventes record pour une musique traditionnelle d'envergure internationale), et sur lequel il s'était adjoint alors la participation de Dan Ar Braz, avec qui il participera aux tournées de « L'héritage des Celtes ». Depuis Carlos s'est établi en tant qu'artiste majeur de la world music internationale par sa capacité à effacer les frontières, à réunir des musiciens de pays et de styles différents et à créer une musique qui lui est propre, enracinée dans la tradition et pluriculturelle. L'album « Un Galicien en Bretagne »sorti en 2003, a contribué à affermir sa position en France. C'est un hommage à ce pays qu'il appelle "sa seconde maison" tant Galice et Bretagne se ressemblent par leurs paysages, leurs gens, leurs manières de vivre, leurs musiques... Pour la préparation de ce disque, Carlos a pratiquement vécu en Bretagne pendant trois ans. L'enregistrement réunit quelques uns des meilleurs musiciens bretons, certains légendaires comme Alan Stivell, Gilles Servat et bien entendu Dan Ar Braz . Après un séjour de près d'un an au Brésil passé à découvrir et remonter le fil des traditions celtiques .... + Informações
