De har deres helt egen lyd, men minder også en del om Jethro Tull. Nogle af sangene er lidt country agtige. Alt I alt, et rigtigt godt dansk Prog Rockn roll band. Culpepers Orchard where a Danish band. Playing mostly Prog Folk/Rock and some blues now and then. They sound a little like early Jethro Tull, but are still very different. Culpeper's Orchard - Ode to Resistance 5.90 min. | 0 avaliação | 5 exibições by Cy Nicklin & Michael Friis, from "Culpeper's Orchard", 1971 Polydor Denmark. Moments of sorrow, You can't borrow pleasure from the truth When you feel low down, My friend, Go down, Search in your roots of youth You will find, Piece of mind, With happiness you will remember Just like you, Thought of a girl that I once knew, In some September When you were young girl did you loose the flag Did someone take the rainbow from your night I know there are moments when you only see the rain I'll let the rain melt if you let me stay I can give you magic, That I was born to use And if your morning's tragic, We have no time to loose Sitting quietly doing nothing, Magic is alive in you and me Spring is coming and the grass grows, God is still a singing (Even if you can't see him), God is still a singing tree If you want to know a direction, Ask from one who know the way But don't go casting your reflection, On one who knows On one who knows, On one who knows but will not say. + Informações |

To be forgotten, to live in Dust To float in a stream and fly in the air What more could we wish, to always be spread on earth Plucked as a flower to die with love, and fly to greet the sun Flowers in the forest freed, deadlocked in your arms I bleed Knowing not the rhymes I need, to take me from my madness Wrap my mind in cellophane, ignore the pleas to stop the rain From falling on your windowpane, when your asleep at midnight The iron mountains metal rings, beside the bedrooms light in spring And hums the words 'cause they can't sing, the words they haven't learnt yet All is free while bodies moan, so shut the door but hear them groan While petals fall from what is known, of love and what goes with it. + Informações |
