Somewhere between a soundtrack suited for a long desert drive and electronic stadium grandeur, lives Cruel Black Dove. Since forming in 2007, the Brooklyn-based group has taken its time and care in getting under the skin of a fickle music scene. Cruel Black Dove is not a flash-in-the-pan blog band, and the band's growing fanbase knows it. The foursome and their sound is a steady and heavy force, and in that sense, they are more in line with the Portishead and Blonde Redheads of the world, rather than your average band-of-the-moment; and the band makes its presence known in explosive bursts-- especially with their live performances.
