It's an uptempo original song that's got a bit of a U2 vibe to it, and it came to be in very serendipitous way. I recently played a show in support of the Parker Street Food & Furniture Bank in my hometown of Halifax when one of the managing directors there, Tom Gouthro, mentioned to me he had a Christmas song he had been working on, and would I have a listen to it. He said he felt very grateful for all that had come into his life, and he wanted t get that accross in a song about Christmas. I thought that was a great message, and after hearing the very rough demo, I felt I could re-work it into a 3 minute Christmas pop/rock song. So after a complete makeover, cowrite and excellent production by Creighton Doane, here it is - a song with a catchy chorus and an important message - let's be grateful for what we have and try and help others who are less fortunate.
