Original first generation Black Blob device. Note the mis-spelling of 'DRAULA' noise.... I wonder how many thousands were produced before someone noticed! This one was sold under the title 'CRASH BOX', with the slogan 'Don't get mad, get even!'. It came with sticky pads for fixing to a car dashboard, presumably so that angry motorists could hurl electronic hand grenades at each other.. Just added a pitch knob and an audio output. On February 19, 1989, a Boeing 747-249F operating as Flying Tiger Flight 66 was flying an international cargo flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The aircraft impacted terrain 12 miles from the airport, resulting in 4 fatalities. The aircraft was assigned an non-directional beacon (NDB) approach to Runway 33 at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Kuala Lumpur, after having flown 30 minutes from Singapore Changi Airport.[1] In descent, the flight was cleared to "Kayell" with a morse code of "KL" of which four separate points on the ground were commonly called by Malaysian ATC albeit with different frequencies. Two separate radio beacons were identically coded "KL" as well as the VOR abbreviation (Kuala Lumpur shortened to "KL") and the airport was also sometimes referred to as "KL" by local ATC (instead of the full "Kuala Lumpur"). The crew was unsure to which point they were cleared, and the cockpit voice recorder revealed that the crew argued about which radios should be set to which frequencies and which approach was actually going to be conducted. (Even in the last few moments of the flight, the captain referenced the ILS approach for runway 33 which was notamed as inop on the flight release and the ATIS, additionally the crew was told by ATC that the ILS approach was not available.) The future levels are my favorite platform levels in the game, just like the space station levels were my favorites in Crash 2. They're just so lovely. In order to get all the boxes here, you need to leave certain boxes until you've completed the green gem path. You have to leave the bounce box to be able to get that box at the top and the TNT box to be able to blow up the boxes beneath the floor. Or do you? Maybe you don't, but I really don't know. With a video length of 6:02, this is the longest level in the game. This means Cold Hard Crash is the longest level in all the three games. It would have been under 6:00 if I hadn't missed that one jump twice, though. If I was in a perfectionist mood, I would have restarted, but I decided to keep it for a laugh.. + Informações

The relic I got from Midnight Run was the fifth, which means I now have access to the basement and the first bonus level. A very annoying bonus level. Ski Crazed is about twice as long as Makin Waves and there are many more bombs and other things you want to avoid. Getting all the boxes without losing here is a pain, so I accepted missing some jumps this time. Not too many, of course. Time trial: Also a pain, even though you're allowed to miss several boxes. Remember how I luckily jumped over a bomb in the water on Makin Waves? Well, I got punished for it here by jumping over a +2 box. And a few seconds later, I hit a bomb and jumped over a +3 box. We go directly from the easiest levels to one of the hardest. This one isn't as bad as Ski Crazed, though, and I even managed to do it without having to redo any jumps. Time trial: This is one of the three platinums I never got until now and I don't really blame myself for never getting it earlier. This is by far the hardest platinum to get and it took more than 100 attempts. Of course, at least 1 out of 3 ended early because of that stupid bird sitting on that one box in the water. Another pretty damn annoying one, but not as bad as Cold Hard Crash. Most of my failed attempts here ended because I couldn't clear the gaps on the green gem path. Also, that nitro switch can be very annoying. If you fail to spin a mouse into it, you need to jump on it and that can easily go wrong. Oh yeah, and I forgot one box on one of my "succesful" attempts. Damn, I hate it when that happens. Especially when I have no idea which one it was.. + Informações

For the love of God, watch this in high quality. There are two gems on this level, but you can't get them both in one run, so I'm getting the one that's available now. That's obviously the box gem, as the other gem is behind that gate in the beginning. Not much else to say, as this is a quite easy level. I've already gotten 100%, but the game isn't 100% completed without these. These bonus stages are truly some of the hardest stuff in the game and I don't think I've ever beaten all of them before. On Rolling Stones, you must get all 10 fruits out of the box in order to get the first Brio head. Also, if you blow up the TNT in that group of 9 boxes before you get the Brio head there, it'll disappear. This is why I only found one of them when I got the gem on this level. Other than that, you get to see me lose a couple of times. No one's perfect :P. + Informações
