Dizia Mamãe que naquele lugar abençoado tudo nascia; até uma semente de " ervilha em conserva",se jogada lá virava uma plantação. Naqueles dias de descanso fiquei reflexivo e saudoso. Resolvi, então, visitar a montanha para organizar minhas idéias. Passei pelo caminho de pedra, cruzei um riachinho tímido,travei batalha com os mosquitos e finalmente avistei- a: imponente, mas acolhedora. Não tinha a pretensão de escalar,nem de quebrar recordes. Queria mesmo encontrar algumas respostas dentro de mim, sair do meu agitado mundo real para mergulhar na divina natureza. Que cenário perfeito Deus criou! Pensei maravilhado com tanta beleza e harmonia. Tanto deslumbramento me rendeu em tombo e fui ao chão; para não perder a viagem, apanhei uma sementinha e me pus a plantá-la, recordando dos bons tempos de minha infância.Ouvi então uma voz que dizia: * Prepare a terra primeiro para depois plantar! * Que susto! Logo exclamei. Aquela voz firme e suave vinha de onde? Havia mais alguém comigo? Então perguntei: * Quem está ai me ensinando a plantar? E veio a resposta: Eu! It was shot by famed cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond over a period of 2 weeks for $33000 with a cast of five, one of which doubled as the production's production manager. Three high school teachers, Ed, Doris, and Carl, are driving through rural Southern California on their way to a Dodgers game in Los Angeles. The group's Chevrolet Belair has some trouble and they are forced to pull off to a gas station/junkyard on the side of the road. After examining the vehicle Ed concludes that the fuel pump will need to be replaced. Doris and Carl search the junkyard looking for the owner, but they cannot find him. In the residence Carl finds a warm meal with a table set for four, but oddly enough nobody is in the house. The three realize this is very peculiar and start to seriously worry about their situation. At this point Charlie Tibbs, a rather large man wielding a Colt .45, and his girlfriend Judy show up. Charlie and Judy have spent the past several days heading west from Arizona, leaving a trail of corpses behind them. Law enforcement is on the hunt for them, but Charlie has managed to stay a step ahead by changing vehicles .... + Informações

The film begins immediately after the fall of Poland. Of the two major Western Allies of 1940, the United Kingdom is first to be mentioned. The role of the Royal Navy in blockading Germany is highlighted, in that it means that Germany must overcome British resistance in order to clear the way for its world conquest. Hitler's treachery towards the small neutral countries of Europe is exposed - to Denmark: "We have concluded a non-aggression pact with Denmark" - to Norway: "Germany never had any quarrel with the Northern States and has none today" - to the Netherlands: "The new Reich has always endeavored to maintain the traditional friendship with Holland" - and to Belgium: "The Reich has put forth no claim which may in any way be regarded as a threat to Belgium". These quotes are repeated after the conquest of each of these countries is shown. The first targets of the Nazis in 1940 were Denmark and Norway. Nazi interest in Norway is described in terms of Germany's desire to use Norway's fjords as U-boat bases, and to use airfields in Norway for a bomber attack on the British naval base at Scapa Flow. George and Harold, American song-and dance-men performing in Melbourne, Australia, have to leave in a hurry to avoid various marriage proposals. They end up in Darwin, where they take jobs as pearl divers for a prince. They are taken by boat to an idyllic island on the way to Bali, (the location is unclear, but possibly in the Maluku Islands). They vie with each other for the favours of exotic (and half-Scottish) Princess Lalah, a cousin of the Prince. The hazardous dive produces a chest of priceless jewels, which the prince plans to claim as his own. After escaping from the prince and his henchmen, the three are shipwrecked and washed up another island. Lalah is now in love with both of the boys and can't decide which to chose. Following further romantic complications, the boys participate in a traditional marriage ceremony, both thinking they're marrying Lalah. In fact, she's being unwillingly married to the already much-married King. Harold conjures up Jane Russell from a basket by playing a flute and thinks that he's going to get her.
