Washington (CNN) -- US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is acknowledging publicly the key role a Pashtun doctor Shakil Afridi who assisted the United States ahead of the strike on Osama bin Laden's compound last May that killed the terrorism mastermind. However, experts say the risk of these mostly non-cancerous growths is still very small. The study compared about fourteen hundred patients with a brain tumor called a meningioma to a group without brain tumors. Dr. Elizabeth Claus of Yale University led the study. She says it found that those with the tumors were about twice as likely to report having had a common kind of X-ray, called a bitewing. The link was greater with a kind of imaging called a panoramic X-ray. There was up to five times the risk, depending on age or how often the X-rays were taken.Dr. Claus points out that in this study, the people were generally in their fifties or older. They were asked to remember X-rays they might have had many years earlier. So there is a chance they might have under-reported or over-reported how many dental X-rays they had. Dr. Claus says she does not want to scare people away from dental visits. In her words: "The big take-home message is, keep going to the dentist. But have a conversation with your dentist about whether you might be able to reduce the number of X-rays that you receive." Often its not a posture issue which can be fixed just by thinking about it and holding yourself in a certain position but rather a muscular imbalance. Here is an example of what it looks like: Bad posture is never good for the body but its equally bad for the appearance and rolled over shoulders is no exception. If your shoulders are rolled over, it makes your chest looks smaller, your shoulders narrower, and makes you look ape because of the what happens to your arm positioning -- more on that later. In bodybuilders, rolled over, hunched shoulders is often from an exercise induced muscular imbalance. The most common way this happens is with people who just do bench press and bicep curls. They get these huge strong pecs but don't develop any muscles on their back to help counteract the pecs so their shoulders get pulled forward forward and toward each other causing their torso to cup forward. If you are not sure if over-strong pecs are your problem, check this out. Stand relaxed with your hands at your sides and then look where your thumbs are pointing. If your chest, shoulder, and back muscles are well balanced then your thumbs will point forward or slightly inward.
