O jogo que aconteceu no domingo de Páscoa teve como personagem principal o dirigente vascaíno, Eurico Miranda, ou melhor, os 40 mil ovos de chocolates distribuídos por ele entre os torcedores vascaínos, que estavam presentes no estádio do Maracanã. Tudo indica que os ovos deram energia ao time cruzmaltino, afinal na ocasião o Vasco venceu o Flamengo por 5 X 1 e conquistou a Taça Guanabara, equivalente ao primeiro turno do Campeonato Carioca.
