My very first upload on YouTube here was a short verse of Eason Chan's ????. Sung at a whim and it was rather impromptu. You can actually check it out! Haha well, that was how it got started and since then, I had some requests to do the full song. Took me some time to get my lazy a** to it, but hey! Here it is! Definitely one of my favourite songs to tune to because the lyrics are so meaningful and poignant (albeit a mouthful) and there is something so theatrical and dramatic to the melody. Eason brings great delivery from the point of a messenger. My heart always aches a twinge when I hear him sing this! Neyways, thanks for tuning in and I hope you like the full version of this song! Greetings! Sorry it took me some time to post again! Life's been crazy! Then again, whose isn't? Which is why I choose to cover this song! It is my second time covering a Cantonese song so I beg your pardon if my pronunciation is not as accurate as I will like them to be! But the lyrics are so well written that I find so much meaning in them. Hard for me to stay away from this one, despite the fact that it is in Cantonese for which is not my core dialect! ???briefly describes the successful life of a typical ambitious adult who have excelled in his career. He pursues the finer things in life, such as material wealth. But the irony is they have also lost a lot of valuable things in life in the process of that pursuit. One of my favourite part of the lyrics has got to be: ????????????????????????????????When you realize you are so helpless after learning how much you have lost. Opportunities are wasted and will not come again. Do not blindly pursue something that will make you susceptible to losing something greater in life. I learn a lot from this song!
