Sophie (lead vocals, guitarist, 13 years old), Izzy (drummer, 13 years old) and Jena (Bass, 14 years old) are Care Bears On Fire. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, the young band have become favorites on the New York City club scene, winning over the most jaded hipsters with their authentic punk spirit and songs that capture the experience of being a kid with attitude and humor. The 8th Graders have already been featured on NPR, USA Today, The Cartoon Network and many more while Sophie was also featured in Converses acclaimed Three Chords commercial, playing an acoustic version of their first single, Everybody Else, featured on their forthcoming album. Care Bears on Fire are punk meets garage, straight out of a Brooklyn basement. Care Bears on Fire is a Brooklyn, New York-based band that consists of Sophie (vocals and guitar), Izzy (drums) and Jena (bass). The group originally formed ...Confuse Me (2006) I Stole Your Animal (2007) Get Over It! (2009) Girls Like it Loud (2010) And I know that I enjoyed this interview with the Care Bears On Fire and I think it really shows that they care about their fans....elements. The band released their first, full length LP, I Stole Your Animal on 28 September 2007, at a release party in Brooklyn. Their second album, Get Over It, was released in July 2009 they been singing and writting there own songs since they where 9 The band got their big break when New York Magazine did a profile on the three in the summer of 2006.
