Powerful tornadoes ripped through the US midsection on Friday, killing at least 20 people in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio as they blew apart homes and buildings, damaged a prison and tossed around vehicles across several states. At least 13 people were killed in southern Indiana, five died in neighboring Kentucky and two in Ohio from a lengthy band of storms that ranged from the US midwest to southeast. "We are no match for Mother Nature at her worst," Indiana governor Mitch Daniels said in a statement, adding he would visit the stricken southeast corner of the state on Saturday. Another possible storm-related death occurred in Henryville, Indiana, where television images showed homes ripped apart. CNN aired video taken from the air showing rescue workers in Indiana picking through one splintered house, residents sifting through the ruins of a home, and a school bus thrown into a building. Several warehouse-like structures had their roofs ripped off. Major Chuck Adams of the Clark County Sheriff's office said there was extensive damage to a school in Henryville, but added: "All the children are out. No injuries to any of them, just minor scrapes and abrasions." Indiana officials confirmed 13 deaths from the tornadoes on Friday, with four in Jefferson County, four in Washington County, three in Scott County and two in Ripley County. Rainbow Valley is a 1935 Western film released by Monogram Pictures, written by Lindsley Parsons, directed by Robert N. Bradbury and starring John Wayne. Main character (John Martin) is very polite and genial. On a ride to the small town of Paradise Valley, he runs into an "old-timer" (George) who is looking for water for his car. Martin is surprised to see a car; he gives the old timer his entire canteen of water. George, the mailman for the area, starts his car back up and heads down the road. Farther down, the road is being watched by highwaymen who have set up an ambush. Martin is riding on the same road and sees the highwaymen chasing George. Martin follows and takes on the highwaymen, but not before the last one shoots George. Martin leaps from his horse to the car; George is okay, the bullet only grazed his skull. Martin hitches his horse on the back of the car and rides into town with George. Martin takes George taken to the town doctor. Meanwhile, the townspeople are rallying against the gang of highwaymen. We followed the demolition of the former ABW Channel 2 Television studios in Perth, Western Australia, which are making way for two new apartment buildings. By Monday, 24th January 2011 the television studios, offices, OB garage, props area, operational areas and West Wing were removed. Workers were also chipping away at the Radio building, with the last remnants of the canteen sun-deck and generator plant still remaining. The demolition crew explained that the rest of the radio building will be left and that restoration work has begun on the heritage listed radio building interior. The Terrace Road TV links tower was removed on Tuesday, 25th January 2011. One crane held a cage for the oxy acetylene torch cutting team, whilst another held the top portion of the tower. Only the top section of the tower will survive to be relocated to the Swan Valley Oasis at 10250 West Swan Road in Henley Brook, Western Australia, where it will be used as a launching point for a flying fox. Santa Clara County Fire Department responded two alarms to this residential fire in Los Gatos, January 25th, 2010. This video features still photos from the incident. To jump in before the question is asked, no, they don't normally send a Type III to a structure fire in January - but as the fire started around 6:00am when the next day's crew came on at 8 they used Engine 308, which is a reserve Wildland rig, to drive Engine 8's crew to the scene and relieve Sunday's crew. The crew change was done and 308 drove back to the station. Also you will notice Fire Support Unit 2 on scene, this is operated and staffed by the volunteer members of the Fire Associates of Santa Clara Valley, who provide rehab and canteen service to the eleven fire departments in Santa Clara County on multi alarm incidents.. + Informações

This video was taken on 30th of October 2010 by a visiting party of 4 families. We spent the weekend at the farm with little children and professional non campers. We found the facilities wonderful & modern. ( the new shower block was 5 star). For those who love camping outdoors and those who love camping indoors they had everything. It is a country Camp . Ring the owners , ask the obvious questions, bring a little cash and anthing you think will keep you comfortable. There is a "canteen" / shop that provides all the hot food, meals, morning tea (scones) jam etc . Go camping overnight in the huts or on your own. I went during the 1970s too - The old equipment is still there but the water slide and the facilities are not what you remember . The showers , toilets, sleeping quarters were wonderful along with the staff. Things have changed very quickly over the past 12 months and you should go and spend a night under the stars and lock Mum and Dad inside sleeping. + Informações
