Camden Town Market in London is one of the most interesting and diverse places to visit in the UK. There are actually several markets in Camden and there are many distinct items on sale including unique T-Shirts, Jewellery and world foods. There are also plenty of 'Earthy' places to eat and some very poor ones too! Camden Market Feb 2010, London. I think it's probably one of the best, if not *the* best, markets in the world. It's mainly for alternative lifestyles, and you'll see goths, punks, rockers, emos & eskimos all join together in one bizarre gathering. You could walk round there all day and still not see everything. The market's changed so much since the re-vamp, but it's an improvement. I used to go there a lot in my yoof to buy bootleg records. The market now seems a lot bigger and you'll see a lot of huge statues around. Mostly horse sculptures, because part of the market used to be a horse stable (established in 1854). The facilities have improved too, and I would guess there are a lot more stalls selling everything from art to old collectable toys. I put together this video montage for anyone to take a look. This fight led to a shooting that left one man dead and another injured about 5 am April 27, 2012, in Camden, NJ. The participants were in a Crown Fried Chicken on Broad Street when the altercation broke out. One of the victims, seen in the video sitting in a booth to the left with another person, was not involved in the fight and was trying to leave when struck by a stray bullet. This video depicts the fight preceding the shooting. The shooter can be seen wearing a baseball cap and a gray jacket with black trim across the shoulders.
