this video features my home telephone's caller id. i saw some funny numbers on the caller id as the numbers from which calls to my telephone originated - like numbers consisting of multiple eights and even just dots and no numbers. i had put these funny telephone numbers on the net few days back. the response was immediate - my telephone's caller id stopped functioning. WHAT HAPPENS NOW is that immediately the caller id equipment is connected to the telephone line the screen goes blank. to restore the equipment back to normal i have to disconnect it from the telephone line and remove the cells from the equipment and leave it for a few minutes.
