"Land Of The Dead", the new album from US power metallers JACK STARR'S BURNING STARR ? the band led by former VIRGIN STEELE guitarist Jack Starr ? will be released on November 11 via Limb Music. The CD was produced by Bart Gabriel (CRYSTAL VIPER, SACRED STEEL, LONEWOLF), and features cover artwork by Ken Kelly (RAINBOW, KISS, MANOWAR). "Land Of The Dead" was recorded by the same linup that was responsible for 2009's "Defiance" album: Starr on guitar, Ned Meloni on bass, Kenny "Rhino" Earl (ex-MANOWAR) on drums, and Todd Hall on vocals. This Burning Starr compilation is now brought to you digitally which was preserved in VHS. It's amazing that it even survived. This video compilation was remastered from the original 1988 video tapes which were shot at the famed Sundance concert hall of Long Island. Compilation includes Tear Down The Walls, Fire and Rain, Go Down Fighting and Stand Up and Fight Look for other original videos from this era to follow soon,these songs feature the amazing vocal prowess of Mike Tirelli and an awful lot of hairspray!! This is a live performance of Jack Starr's Burning Starr playing the classic song Go Down Fighting, which Jack wrote while he was in the band Virgin Steele. The performance took place at the Magic Circle Festival III in Loreley, Germany on July 18, 2009. Joining Jack on stage are fellow band members Ned Meloni on bass and Todd Michael Hall on vocals.
