Check out my backstage interview with Relient K lead singer Matt Thiessen. Relient K is a Christian rock band from Canton, Ohio. Their big break came in 1999 when the band was discovered by tobyMac. Soon after the band was signed and released their self titled debut, introducing the world to Relient K. Over the next few years Relient K released multiple albums, all of which sold well and grew the band's popularity among it's mainly Christian fanbase. But everything changed in 2004 when Relient K released their smash hit Mmhmm.
