Rice is one of a group of musicians that mixes Nazism with Satanism in his performances. He was a mentor of Marilyn Manson. In effect, they started a Satanic Nazi genre in popular music that is still having a big influence today on young fans. Rice discusses with Metzger using industrial music to promote a movement of "White Aryan Youth." Tom Metzger is head of the White Aryan Resistance (WAR) and the former Grand Dragon of the KKK in California. These bands make sometimes subtile allusions to Nazism and Satanism. They seem to be trying to generate a cult-like effect amoung their fans. They deny that their references to Nazism and Satanism are serious to new fans and outsiders.
