Born of Osiris has gone through a number of name changes including Your Heart Engraved, Diminished and Rosecrance; the band, after playing with an abundance of names, finally went with Born of Osiris in 2007, basing it off of the Egypitan diety Osiris, and the tale of his son Horus. The group is signed to Sumerian Records and has released two albums on the label. Heres my attempt to the solo from Dissumulation, my favourite solo off the album. Could probably have done a better take but my laptop webcam decided to stop working. Learnt by ear (not sure if the positioning is correct but the notes are more or less right) Guitar is a Schecter Omen 7 Extreme with Dimarzio Crunch Lab 7(bridge) and Liquifire pickups (neck). Pod XT live used for tone, recorded through analogue output (not USB), sound monitored with M-Audio BX5a speakers. Been playing for near 5 years. Tuning is GDGCFAD. 9-54 gauge strings used.
