This is inspired by the styles of Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Buddy Guy. I played this on a Peavey Reactor made in USA Telecaster guitar, a Crate Vintage Club 20 amp, and a 1974 Ibanez Jazz Bass. I used a Blue Magic and AMZ MOSFET boost effects. Tempo is 60 beats per minute. I used no EQ on the guitar it is recorded dry just like it sounds coming out of my Vintage Club 20 amp. "THE Tone" Here I'm demonstrating the germanium circuit of the build your own clone triboost. The germanium circuit can work as a treble boost in the vein of the classic dallas rangemaster, mid boost or full range boost and should be set depending on the amp and guitar combination you're working with, but in the video I demo all three. Hey, this is a bit of playing over Jeff Beck's Blues Deluxe from the Truth Album. Using my les paul into my cornell jtm45 (KT66's) normal channel on 6, using a BSM Velvet treble boost to kick the amp up a notch! Only difference to the amp from last clip is changing the telefunken ecc83 in v3 to a mullard cv4024 (ecc81) just to give a slightly cleaner and clearer tone - just personal preference cheers johnny. + Informações
