Arranger, Charles Fox's relationship with The Four Seasons at Vee-Jay and with producer Bob Crew and arranger Charles Calello had an obvious influence since the backing track of this tune is identical in sound to the tracks Bob Crew was cranking out at that time with The Four Seasons, The Rag Dolls, Diane Renay and Shirley Matthews. There is speculation that Jean Thomas had some kind of involvement with the three tracks the Candy Girls issued on Rotate since her husband, Charles Fox was the arranger. Two of the girls in the group were named Judy and Fran. Any other information regarding this group is most welcome.. + Informações

An excellent transition in personnel as this disc is a quality double-sider with 'Dynamite' as the plug side and 'Please Gypsy' on the flip side. The usual Phil Spector musical embellishments are sprinkled throughout with marvelous results.
