The conclusion to my Blue Swat Review series...this is the Blue Swat Watch! This watch may not look like much, but it's incredibly hard to find. That said...it's got nothing else to exist for. It's truly a collector's piece. The design is pretty tacky, the batteries are impossible to get to, the LCD screen is prone to failure, etc. So many problems with this watch. To be perfectly honest, the only reason I bothered to review this toy is because Blue Swat lacks a badge that the previous Metal Hero Police Shows had. So this is *something*, right? Part one of my Blue Swat series is now here on Youtube. Here I am reviewing the excellent DX Dictator! The Dictator is the standard Side-arm to the Blue Swat team. It's probably the smallest gun in the entire series...which is saying alot. The toy version of the Dictator is strikingly close to not only the prop from the show...but a real gun. Yikes. This toy was obviously marketed to the Adult collector. The box is a very thick and glossy material [kind of like an encyclopedia] and there are no pictures of the Blue Swat team. The function of the toy is excellent. You load the clip with the bullets, and fire away! There are two modes of fire: Single and Automatic. You can fire one shot, or blow through 10 shots all at once. Twenty bullets are included with the set. The only complaint I have about this great looking toy is that the mechanism is a bit too loud. This is my 93rd Video...so why not a toy from a show that aired in 1993? This is the DX JP Card Set from Tokusou Robo Janperson! This toy is quite possibly the most basic Metal Hero Badge of them all. Pushing aside the tradition of hyper-electronic gizmos everywhere and games, this toy has none of that. Infact, it only does one thing...dispenses cards. The five cards included in this set are the JP Card, WARNING, DESTROY, GUILTY, and CONTACT. When you press the button on top of the toy, it opens up and you can load the cards into the spring loaded mechanism. Once you close the door, just slide the switch on the front and a card will be dispensed. Pretty simple. The star of this toy is the quality. It's really nicely made. The back of each card has the Janperson logo molded onto it [it was difficult to take a picture of]. The badge itself is also very well made. Alas...this is the last Metal Hero Badge ever made. Blue Swat didn't have one [doesn't mean I don't have a Blue Swat review coming soon though...]. Both B-Fighter series weren't cop shows, so they didn't have them. That leaves this set as the final Metal Hero Badge...while it's not as lame as the Solindicater from Solbrain...this could've been much, much better. If you're interested in this toy...good luck!
