Sumba Island, the Southeastern of Timor, Indonesia: The "Pasola" is an annual spear-throwing battle conducted on horseback between bold men from neighbouring villages. Riders bedecked in battle dress thunder across a grassy plain with spears in hand, horses charging at full tilt. They aim, and hurtle their spears at their opponents with deadly precision. Blood is frequently drawn and riders often knocked from their mounts or maimed. Deaths are not uncommon at this event. The spilled blood symbolises the fertilising of the fields and bodes well for the pending rice harvest, which in turn appeases the throng of onlookers, who by midday have worked themselves into a crazed fervour. The ritual place of Pasola Ceremonies ... that take place during the months of February and March at select locations along the West Coast of the Island. Until now, very few foreigners have been able to witness the Pasola. VICTORIA - New rules for motorcycle riders could include zero tolerance for blood-alcohol levels and graduated licensing. The safety measures are among several recommendations by a BC Coroners Service Death Review panel. The province's Public Safety minister says the report will influence legislative and regulatory changes now under consideration. Reaction from motorcycle riders is mixed. Some believe more focus should be placed on educating drivers rather than punishing riders. Public Safety Minister Kash Heed says the findings and recommendations from the BC Coroners Service further support the government's ongoing work to protect motorcycle riders by reducing the risks they currently face. Between 2000 and 2007, 286 motorcycle-related deaths were reported to the BCCS. In light of the rising number of fatalities, BCs chief coroner convened a death review panel on motorcycle fatalities in November 2008. The panel made nine recommendations aimed at preventing similar tragedies in the future including mandatory industry certification for all motorcycle helmets, establishing a graduated-licence program for new riders and implement a zero-tolerance blood-alcohol policy for new riders.. + Informações

Recorded october 2011 The Flight of the Hippogriff (a retheming of Flying Unicorn is a roller coaster at the Islands of Adventure theme park, in Orlando, Florida, United States. The ride is located in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter section of the park and is a mild alternative to the land's more extreme rides including Dragon Challenge and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It was one of the first attractions to open with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter on its grand opening on June 18, 2010. The roller coaster's new backstory is that Hagrid is teaching young wizards how to fly a Hippogriff by using fake replicas of the creature. The queue line weaves through Hogwarts Grounds, past Hagrid's Hut and the Forest, and leads into an open canopy where Care of Magical Creatures Class is taught, and riders board the vehicle. The roller coaster takes passengers on a test flight of the Hippogriff over the Forbidden Forest and Hagrid's Hut. Riders are instructed to bow to the Hippogriff before the ride progresses up the lift hill. The cars then travel over a track, to the top of the lift, where riders have a full aerial view of The Wizarding World and then dropped through various dips and turns around Hogwarts Grounds before being deposited at the start of the track, where Hagrid thanks riders, who then disembark. Their father kills himself after Japanese Raiders invade his island in search of the Golden Buddha. The father gives the last map of where the buddha is to his three sons, but only in three parts. The sons run away with the mother, bent on vengeance. SPOILERS BELOW The youngest son, who thinks himself to be the only survivor of his family, goes on a quest to kill the Japanese man who helped to murder his father. He plans to do so at a competition where swords and the like are used, with a monk companion of his. He fails to do so, and ends up running away. He single handedly ambushes a caravan in the forest, thinking it to be the Jap, but discovering it is the noble daughter whom he met earlier. He tends to her, but the Jap ambushes him. He responds by impaling the Jap and leaving the noble daughter alone. Part 1 ends with him swearing revenge on a corrupt local Korean leader. The eldest was found in the stream, and became a General in the Korean Army. The middle son was killed by the son of one of the original Japanese invaders of the island, who now poses as a monk. The leader is then poisoned by the disguised Jap anyway. The youngest son meets with the disguised Jap, and goes to gather the golden Buddha in order to bring it to a museum. The Jap takes it and nearly drops the youngest son down a cliff, but he is saved by the noble daughter from earlier in the movie. He kills the disguised Jap, and witnessed the daughter die with total respect for his culture.
