Bill Staines has been recording folk music for over 40 years. He writes most of the songs he sings, which are tales that he has woven of Americana adventures. I made this video for a medley of two of his songs, "Sourdough" and "The Miner's Song". It's about the 1899 Alaska Gold Rush. My cousin provided me with the beautiful pictures that I used during the instrumental parts at the beginning and end of the video. This medley is from Bill's album "Wild, Wild, Heart" from 1985. The lonesome-sounding violin is played by Stuart Shulman.. + Informações
