Yanni is a self-taught pianist who began his musical career by giving recitals for family members though he had no formal training and could not read music. He was also a competitive swimmer in Greece and set a national record in the 50-meter freestyle competition at the age of 14.[3] At the age of 18 he attended the University of Minnesota. While a student there, Yanni joined an up-and-coming local group called Chameleon where he met drummer Charlie Adams.[2] Chameleon earned some modest commercial success touring throughout the Midwest, particularly in the states of Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and South Dakota. After receiving a BA in psychology, he sought a life in music. He moved to Los Angeles, in pursuit of movie soundtrack work. In 1987 he put together a small band which included John Tesh and Charlie Adams, and began touring to promote his earliest instrumental albums, Keys to Imagination, Out of Silence, and Chameleon Days. Gary Connery, 42, from Oxfordshire, leapt from a helicopter a mile above Henley then glided down using a specially adapted wing suit before landing on a "runway" of 18000 cardboard boxes. Tarpon fishing under Long Key bridge near Duck Key, Fl. After a 20 minute fight with a tarpon, a 14 foot long hammer head shark attacks and eventually eats the tarpon. We tried our best to protect the tarpon by running it down and creating as much noise and bubbles to confuse the shark and hide the tarpon. After a quick release, the shark returns and I aggressively circle the tarpon as the shark slices at it boat side. After about 5 hits, the shark wins and swims off with the tarpon in its mouth. Moments later, half of the 65lb tarpon floats up and I grab the remains to add to the documentation. The shark returns on a high speed pass and bumps the boat with significant enough force to make Julie scream. I give up on the carcass and Corey gets his hands on it just as the hammer head shark strikes again, this time claiming the remains of his dinner. As this massive shark rolls into a dive, Corey gets a tail grab before it is all over. Conservative size estimations are 14 feet long at about 400lbs. Work on this video began in early May, over a month before I even created my Youtube account. The video contains over 150 different video segments, out of the 250 I cut from the original movie. There are about 75 points in the video where the speed was adjusted to help match the music, see if you can spot them ;D The music was selected from over 300 Two Steps From Hell songs I have, and represent not just the pure epicness that this company is able to produce, but also the diversity. Everything from inspiration to sad to "badass" can be found in the music library of Two Steps From Hell. I know this video is not perfect, but I made every effort to make the music mix well and the footage match up with the music.
