While not a project for everyone, Bob gave me his J-3 cub when he gave up on it, with a bent shaft and broken fuselage. Well I fixed it and flew it Sunday at Donovan's indoor fly in and broke the shaft off right at the threads. Well, since there is another fly in Sunday, in Luverne, MN. I knew I could not get a new shaft in time from Parkzone, so this is how I fixed mine in a pinch. However be forewarned. If you do not know how to use Thin Superglue and Accelerator, do not attempt this repair. You basically only have 1 chance to do this repair, so plan it right and do it right. This is a re-make of the original exhaust video that I made. The system is now broken in and the video was shot with a somewhat better camera. Setup is as follows.... 2.5" aluminized steel piping (press bent, not mandrel) Magnaflow 2.5" tru-x-pipe 2 12" generic resonators 2 Magnaflow 14815 Street-Series Mufflers The two outer tips were shortened about 3/4" for a more staggered look. I recently dropped my Droid Eris on the ground and broke its touch screen. Since the most economical way to fix it was to do the repairs myself, I decided to give it a try. The repair was a success. I'm just an amateur (I've never tried to fix anything like this before), but I learned how to disassemble the phone on the internet. I was never able to find any video of how to replace the digitizer, so I decided to make one. Again, please remember that I'm not a pro so my techniques may not necessarily be the best approach. Follow along at your own risk. The repair isn't quite as easy as it looks; it took me more than a couple of hours to finish this. The end result may not be as beautiful as if you had it repaired professionally, but it's nice enough for me! **Although some people mentioned that a T5 torx driver fits Eris, I used a T6 in this video. As I mentioned in an earlier comment, I read that a T5 driver works on Eris as well. However when I started this repair, I found that the T5 didn't fit the screws on my device. So, I switched to T6 and it worked. Because it worked for me, it is what is listed in my video. Whether T5 or T6 works depends on your specific device.. + Informações
