It turns out that Physical Material has the sound element, which is Barbatos' weak point, so I started off each combo in this video with it. Yup, this is the Barbatos that the genius programmers with a great sense of humor put in the game to prevent auto leveling. After about 20 minutes of spinning around on the overworld with your entire party on auto, this king amongst men will show up. It's not possible to defeat him, and the only way to get out alive is to run, like Barby mentions at the beginning. Of course, you can't run if your lazy ass was just hoping to set the party to autolevel for a few hours while you were off doing something else. Had I hacked to solve that problem (like in my more recent Barbatos x7 videos), Asbel would've won at exactly 0:30.*** Story - "Asbel was angry. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to stop the solo videos here (I just can't combo well with Philia with her low CC on the first playthrough), it should be alot easier on my second playthrough with Extend CC, etc. Anyway, since Aurabolt wanted to see me do a battle with the party kept relatively intact, and I wanted to do that originally with my first Barbatos video, I have done another party battle with the help of my brother. This is alot harder than doing it solo. As you can see Barbatos can take you out in one or two hits. There were a couple of points in this video where I thought we were dead for sure. The final encounter with Barbatos, boss #14, is not as difficult as Barbatos 2 if a specific strategy is employed. Barbatos 3 takes significant damage from spells, with physical attacks being less impressive, but an automatic spell counter comes into play when he loses 50% of his HP: the boss will counter spells with Air Pressure/Negative Gate, targeting the original caster. This counter makes mages useless in the second half of this fight, but a spell-cancelling mage can distract Barbatos while the other characters attack him physically. Repeatedly spell-cancelling in the back of the formation means that the melee fighters are doing more damage up front since Barbatos is too busy casting spells to use his physical attacks. Even with this distraction strategy, Barbatos does damage to the frontline characters and the battle will drag on because lengthy combos are impossible with AI-controlled allies. Here, Yuri is in many ways similar to Reid : his moves seem useful for such a battle, but in fact they aren't. The difference is that Reid could get what he needed with just a bit of hacking. Yuri though got completely screwed since his the bulk of his moves are completely unsuitable for this fight, ad it would take a lot more hacking to make the good. Then I tried Repparanshou. That changed everything. Repparanshou has Yuri do a little forward dash, and, if he hits the enemy, cause a red blast. The power behind this move comes from the fact Yuri is invincible during the 2nd hit, so he usually lands the entire attack. We all know how insanely powerful Yuri is during Overlimit Level 2. However, Level 1 was my choice here. It outclasses Level 2 by the fact it lasts longer, doesn't make Divine Wolf go behind the enemy, and is readily available .... + Informações
