Pode Chorar (Max) Do álbum "Taxi" (1979) O Taxi foi um banda de funk/soul carioca formada originalmente por Max, Amaro e Camarão. Camarão é irmão do Cassiano. O vocalista Max participou deste primeiro álbum e se suicidou antes da banda lançar seu segundo álbum em 1980. Amaro foi morto numa briga de bar. O vocalista Max foi substituido pelo Aladim após sua morte. Aladim faleceu de câncer no estômago em 1998. Fizeram também parte da banda tecladista Julinho Teixeira. Amaro e Camarão, ao lado de Cassiano também fizeram parte do trio vocal Os Diagonais durante os anos 60 e 70. A Banda Taxi foi relativamente desconhecida e inacreditavelmente passou despercebido durante anos 70 e 80. A não ser pela música "Pode Chorar" que foi um pequeno hit underground entre os frequentadores de bailes black. Bastante infuenciada por Cassiano, nunca foi feito nada parecido com esta música até hoje, que para mim, é de longe uma das maiores obras - primas do soul brasileiro. O vocal principal desta música quem faz é Max, que por sinal é incrível. Lamentavelmente nada do Taxi foi lançado em cd até hoje, nem no youtube eu achei coisa da banda. Então resolvi postar essas preciosidades para os amantes da boa música negra como eu, se deleitarem ao som desta maravilha! Apreciem sem moderação!! Agradecimentos a Gabriel O'Meara que produziu o segundo álbum da banda em 1980 e gentilmente me passou a maioria destas informações.
