A tribute, with "Fade to Black", about Metallica's biography. Sobre Fade to black: La letra trataba acerca del suicidio. La constante obsesión de James Hetfield y Lars Ulrich sobre la muerte en el momento de la composición del álbum pudo haber influido en la temática de la canción ya la del disco en general. Además, fue escrita poco después de que fuera robado en Boston el 14 de enero de 1984, todo el material musical de la banda, entre los que se encontraba una guitarra regalada a James Hetfield por su madre poco antes de que esta muriera. Con la publicación del álbum Ride the Lightning, muchos fans quedaron desencantados por la balada «Fade to Black», ya que para los más puristas seguidores de la formación, las bandas de thrash metal no deberían componer canciones orientadas hacia el «mainstream» como es el caso de dicho tema; sin embargo, con la publicación del álbum homónimo de la banda, dicha polémica se recrudece debido al sonido más comercial presente en el disco, ya que en los trabajos anteriores de la banda el sonido pesado y oscuro dominaba la gran mayoría de los temas. Another recreation of battle in Medieval 2 Total War . This time we travel to 1356 , the War of 100 Years between France and England has just begun some years ago. In that conflict the armies of France and England fighted bloody and toughly during 100 years for the power in the North of France and the Britanian Islands . England kings has Normand blood such as the France ones , so the fight versus both kingdoms for try control the other was just a question of time. In the beggining of this bloody war the Prince Edward of England , also called "The Black Prince", won reknown , glory and a place in the history . The young prince has his first big success in the battle of Crecy few years before , at 1346 , with his father the king Edward III . The english invasion of France with a small but fast powerful army was an answer to the previous raids of the french navy at the south coasts of England . The english tactic during the first years was penetrate in France , raid and burn the villages , then move to other zone and once again do the same . The huge , heavy but slow french armies had problems for catch the fast english army , at time the french citizens lost morale and entrustment in their nation rulers , weakening the french king position with his people in favour of small and corruptible local aristocracy .
