Sanji is a "soul of power" whose parents were killed by enemies** when he was young. He feels they only died because they were associated with him, and at the time he couldn't protect them. Shiori Tagami is his teammate, and told Atsuko and Masaru Kouya about Sanji's story out of a plea to help him.
