This is one of the harder songs I've learned and I only heard for the first time 5 days ago. It is not perfect, but my hands are all bloody from trying to mute a cymbal immediately after hitting it with the same hand. I don't envision practicing that move any more and am conceding that I am not as good as Chad Kent in that regard (or any other). Please consider the difficulty when saying "You Suck". I play all songs through my headphones from an iPod, then mix the video on iMovie with the song from iTunes. Unfortunately, my iPod plays the songs slightly faster, about 1/2 a second over 6 minutes. Therefore, I cut this song into 2 pieces to match the music up as perfectly as possible. It iscritical that every drummer develop their own unique style and interpretation. Therefore, I do not memorize any song exactly. I have spent 30 years playing drums and have developed my own style, which I prefer. I keep my playing within the framework of the song and will play a part exact if that part is either iconic (like Phil Collins In The Air Tonight) or critical to the success of the song. Watership Down (formerly known as Atomship and AtomshipDown ) is a three-piece rock band, composed of Derek Pardoe, Chad Kent, and current Together Tomorrow guitarist Jesse Duncan. Nathan Slade, the band's original guitarist, died in December 2009. Current Papercut Massacre vocalist, Joey Culver, was the second vocalist of Atomship, with Derek being the first and current.
