alright so a quick video I put up, how to install your new video card. kind of anyway, I don't show how to actually put the card into your computer, but what to do before and after. ok so I did it wrong I think, what you should do before restarting is uninstall the drivers, then reboot in safemode and driver sweeper will clean up any remaining files. so the products used were driver sweeper, you can find that through google, and imgburn, that's from imgburn.com latest drivers for your card, either at ati.com or nvidia.com if you have any questions leave it in the comments, and i'll reply as soon as I can. + Informações

Though you can see some jerking on the video, it's entirely due to capture software - game itself runs extremely well locked at 60fps with those settiings. As you can see there are no visual artifacts and messy texture pop-in many Radeon users encounter. How I did it? Read below. First, download the latest AMD driver here www2.ati.com (after a while they will make a new one, so this is only actual for a couple of days) - it works ok for both BF3 beta and RAGE. To remove texture pop-in and turn the quality up I made RageConfig.cfg file and put it into \Steam\steamapps\common\rage\base folder. The contents of the file are at the bottom. To improve streaming even further you can find a folder C:\Users\NAME_OF_YOUR_WINDOWS_PROFILE\AppData\Local and create a folder "id software" (no quotes), then open it and create "rage" folder inside it (again no quotes). You may want to enable windows options to see hidden and system files to do this. If you've done this correctly RAGE will create 1gig cache file in this folder after the first run. If your system drive is an SSD this will improve streaming speed and loading times tremendously. Go to your Computer Control Panel and uninstall the old Driver first, reboot your Computer and install the new Driver - reboot again when the Driver ask to! Step 2 Go to your "C:\windows\system32\" folder and search for the file "atioglxx.dll" if you are ATI User "nvoglnt.dll" if you are nVidia User "opengl32.dll" is the Default OpenGL Driver if you don't use ATI or nVidia rightclick the File and click "copy". Step 3 Go to the folder "gldrv" in your Counter-Strike folder. Usually located at "Steam\SteamApps\YourAccountName\counter-strike\gldrv". Inside this folder are 2 files. Rename the "3dfxgl.dll" to whatever you want. Now press CTRL + V or do a rightclick and "paste". Now you should see the file we just copied from the "system32" folder. Note: If the file is not there right now, slap yourself at the forehead and return to Step 2! ^^ Step 4 Open the file "drvmap.txt" with a Editor (Notepad or whatever), but do not use MS-Word! Delete everything inside this file! Now write the new Line: "gldrv/nvoglnt.dll OpenGL Driver" (without the " ") if you are nVidia User "gldrv/atioglxx.dll OpenGL Driver" (without the " ") if you are ATI User "gldrv/opengl32.dll OpenGL Driver" (without the " ") if you use Default OpenGL Save and close this file.
