Here's my interpretation of Gustav Stickley's No. 603 tabouret. This little round table works great in almost any decor. The construction of the table looks deceptively simple, but it has it's fair share of challenges. You have to be accurate and precise in the execution of the joinery to make the through tenons and interlocking cross members fit perfect. This is a multi-part video series, in which I make two of these tables side by side - each with very different methods. I compare and contrast how to build an authentic version of this table versus an "imposter" table. THIS IS NOT A FLEA MARKET! Its a Matsumoto tradition and a fine craft fair known across Japan! I have to say: There are no resellers here its all original hand made and one of a kind stuff. The Annual Craft Fair in Agata-no-mori on its traditional last weekend in May is always a really nice event with a pleasant atmosphere. Its a real family affair and child-friendly. There is plenty of space to sit down on the grass and have a picnic, and watch the world go by. This event seems to be getting bigger every year. There are many more vendors and the park is positively bulging with visitors looking for something special to take home. The stalls here offer everything you could possibly imagine at a craft fair and then some. Some things you might expect: the knick-knacks and trinkets, beads and bracelets, from toys to furniture, cloth, clothes and fabrics, incense, candles and one of kind hand bags and shoes. Would you expect to find a working metal smith or a glass blower? Right there! Need a straw brush or bamboo works, hand made fabrics and beautiful Japanese pottery, ceramics, glass and fine carpentry. I even saw a clock maker and some one of a kind hand made watches! Theres a tent for everyone. Not sure what to get for that impressive birthday gift? Look no further! Wander about and have a look around. This project is a queen sized bed inspired by a Stickley Panel bed. I didn't have anything to go on other than the picture from the Stickley web site, and the overall dimensions. I set to work drawing up my own plans from these two bits of information. The construction of the bed features through mortise and tenon joints connecting the horizontal rails to the posts. The headboard and the footboard have a frame and panel construction where vertical stiles contain the panels and connect the two horizontal stiles. The top horizontal stiles on the headboard and footboard have a broad inverted V shape that is characteristic of a number of Stickley pieces.. + Informações

Learn How to make an earring card holder and arts and crafts display. Supplies needed: Computer, printer, card stock, cork board, push pins and scissors. Create your design on your computer( or you could do it by hand with markers and such) print out your design and cut into business card size. Use one of the push pins and put two holes at midpoint for the earrings then add another hole at the top to push into the cork board!
