We had to leave Yosemite early because of a snowstorm coming through, luckily we had enough time to get this done! We synced the vocals by either having an iPod touch in my pocket or by blasting the song from our Ford Escape rental. The picture is a real photo of my grandfather holding me as a baby. I wrote this song after having recurring dreams of him being there in the scene of my dream but not saying anything, he seemed fragmented... or present but passive.
