I've been experimenting with the smoke gloss gray on the truck, different methods of sanding, which grits work best....etc. Here's what I found: 1. Sand with 320 wet before first coat, after 2nd coat, wet sand 800 grit. 2. Apply 3rd and 4th coat, then wet sand with 1000 then 1500 VERY lightly, until when dry, entire surface looks and feels smooth and uniform. Wait till you see what it looks like after painting over 1500 grit wetsanded surface :) 3. ONLY WETSAND BACK AND FORTH IN STRAIGHT LINES NEVER CIRCLES. If you follow that rule, your paint will look fantastic. 4. Always use a block with sandpaper ensuring even light pressure when wetsanding. 5. Get the hang of working the paint with the roller. If you see a run, roll it out, you can fix it right there and then, without waiting to dry then sand, VERY easily, i've done a few. 6. If your going to glaze over pits, low spots, any spots, make sure you use the 2 part professional glaze with the cream hardener you mix. Much better than the ready to use junk. I learned the hard way. 7. Be careful when mixing the body glaze and hardener, Even with the right mix, you will have MINIMAL time to work with it. Mix it FAST, then slap it on quick or you'll lose that batch. 8. I cut the paint 50-50 with clear odorless mineral spirits, and have very good luck with that mix. 9. Not too much paint on the roller or you'll regret it QUICK. I lightly roll the roller in the paint, cover it completely, then roll the paint off in the tray so no .... + Informações

I know that if I have enough patience or the right equipment I can avoid the backbreaking drudgery of turning the pile. We've all seen the fancy plastic composters you can get at the garden center. I'm sure most of them work great, but I'm a skinflint with a grandiose imagination. Spending around fifty dollars on something that will process a few hundred pounds of compost per year isn't too bad, but I wanted to go BIG. What if I want to process tons and tons of leaves imported and stolen from my friends and neighbors? I see these forlorn bags of yard waste sitting in driveways and backyards and it just galls me that such an awesome resource is going to waste. Since turning compost is against my religion (Dudeism), and buying a dozen plastic composters is out of my price range I was stuck. Building a humongous pile and then letting nature take its course is also unworkable because my lot isn't big enough to accommodate a compost pile the size of a CAR sitting there for ten years. dudeism.com Two bits of information helped me come up with a possible solution.
