Demo of the Titan amp doing heavy detuned rhythm work using my carvin DC145 with the bareknuckle nailbomb bridge pickup. This video also shows what the contour sweep knob does, which is primarily a high and upper midrange filter that will put more emphasis on the highs or lows depending on where it's set. For the cabs, I plugged into both the avatar 2X12 using only the carvin V12 speaker and in the splawn cab, only the scumback XH75-LHDC's were going. Both the V12 and one of the scumbacks were direct mic'd and blended with room audio recorded with a Zoom H2 and the logitech C600's mic. Just a touch of reverb added with the hardwire reverb. Eden boost wasn't used in this video.. + Informações

Each speaker demo is about 3min long so you can fast forward through and hear how each set does a particular lick. Pickups comparison: Wilkinson WVS alnico single-coils vs. GFS (Guitarfetish) Neovin Noise cancelling pickups, both on prewired white pearl pickguards, mounted on my red strat copy. You'll hear them both in all 5 different pickup combinations, both clean and distorted, playing the exact same thing with the same settings. Follow the annotations for further info. A nicely mic'd demo of my "Red Knob" Fender Champ 12 with a Weber Alnico 12-S speaker. It is mic'd off-axis with a vintage SM57. The guitars are a '94 MIJ Fender Mustang, a '98 Dano U1, and a 335 copy w/ Duncan JB pickup. It's a bit lengthy, but I figured better too long then too short. This guitar has been bought on auction Ebay from the seller with a name stratboycopy. It is made in Mexico in 1997. Body from an alder, and neck from one piece of a maple. Expect the price on these to go up! The midrange and efficiency are phenomenal - they will play very loud with small SE tube amps. The wide dispersion horn is nice sounding and blends perfectly with the P8 mid/LF driver. These sound far better than anything Jensen produced after 1960 - including the very overrated 3 way/ 4 way Triette 10" FlexAir & Sonodome affair. This alnico Duette was tested at around 1.5 watts power, 1 meter from camera, powered by a NAD 3020 solid state amp. Playing perfect music for the era..the Fleetwoods 1950s vocal, sourced from CD. When comparing these pickups in my first video, I noticed that the Neovins sounded a bit weaker than the Wilkinsons on the high-gain clips.
