Right now everything seems really hard and i'm physically in a lot of pain. I just had my wisdom teeth out and have a mouth full of stitches. I haven't sung this very well, its hard when your face is this swollen. But i sang this because I feel like it is a release for me. hotandhealthyliving.com Lunchtime sometimes stresses me out. While I almost always have some sort of game plan in place for what Ill make for dinner, I usually dont know whats for lunch until the very last minute. The problem is, for whatever reason I dont think about lunch much until Im starving (this is not the case with breakfast and dinner---I know right away when I wake up that Im going to eat breakfast soon so I think about it while I start the coffee and Im usually thinking about what to make for dinner while Im eating breakfast!) But lunch is totally different. If Im home then I head straight for the kitchen and start yanking this and that from the fridge. Usually Im lucky enough to have enough leftovers from the night before to pull together a decent meal. But, sometimes I have to make my lunch from scratch, which can?admittedly--be a big chore. One of my favorite lunches is soup and salad. But, I definitely dont have the time nor patience to make soup from scratch on a busy weekday afternoon (the salad part is easy though because I just start throwing a bunch of raw veggies, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, olives, etc into a big bowl---then just drizzle a bit of flax oil and vinegar or lemon juice on top). For the soup I need help! One of my favorite lunch-time soups is Almost Homemade Split Pea Soup with help from Amys Kitchen.
