To celebrate the date, 1Way and Ruido got together and the result was the single Libertação? (Liberation). Sentences and speeches pronounced during the liberation process of the Portuguese people from the hand of the fascist regime were used in both tracks. Libertação can be also considered as a manifest of support to all artists based in Portugal, which recently have been a target of persecution, by the Portuguese government and its entities. Libertação questions why is the musical culture in Portugal considered as luxury (taxwise) and not an individual right of the Portuguese people. Demented Noyze / Tricky shows the reason behind showcasing Ruído next to the best portuguese producers; two tracks that leave a clear mark through his strong compositions, elaborated production and infectious energy. Resident in London since 2004, he has then left a mark on the drum n bass scene in his hometown of Porto and across the country, mainly through his project HipDrumBeat with partner DJ Oder. While in London he intensifies his music production with releases through VIM Records (Greece), Erase Records, Scarcity Records and now through BadMood Recordings . At the moment Ruído performs also under the name Stereopathy, where with his label 19th Studio, he focuses on Dub Techno.
