This is my tribute to the greatest lead singer and frontman of the British Invasion and in rock 'n' roll history - Allan Clarke, lead singer of the Hollies from 1962-2000. He turns 66 on Saturday, April 5th, and this is my way of saying, thank you, Allan, for all your years fronting the Hollies and for creating so much great music and giving us so many wonderful memories. We love you, always and forever. You haven't been forgotten, nor will you ever be. Happy Birthday, and may all your wishes come true! Yes Allan Clarke joined Graham Nash and David Crosby on stage to sing The Hollies hit Bus Stop during the Crosby & Nash gig at London's Royal Albert Hall 8th October 2011. C&N had been playing Bus Stop since Manchester the week before responding to a request by Nash's sister Elaine. Sorry about missing the start again (!!) and poor view (the goons were clamping down on videoing so I couldn't lift the camera too high) but you can see and hear Allan enjoying himself; however he left the stage -- ran off!! - as soon as the song was finished. The rest of the Crosby & Nash band is -- James Raymond keyboards; Kevin McCormick bass; Shayne Fontayne guitars; and Stevie DiStanislao drums.
