This end-of-season video celebrates the amazing journey of the Windsor High School Debate Team over the course of their 2012 California State Championship season. Their success was fueled by the energy, intellect and hard work of the entire team over a 9-month season. Their combined winning record was 365-214, 11 final round appearances and 7 championship victories including the 2012 California State Championship. Three Windsor teams (Jason Fauss/Jonathan Jeffrey, Peter Jeffrey/Mariah Steiger & Patrick Foster/Ivy Ziedrich) finish the season ranked top-10 in the nation & based on the squad's combined performance, Windsor High School finished the season ranked #2 in the nation in parliamentary debate and was recognized as one of the top-20 speech and debate programs in California. Because this 12-year-old All-Star team is not only small in stature, but consists entirely of 10 and 11-year-olds on its infield. With such a young team competing at the District level against powerhouses like Jersey City, Clifton and Pershing Field, how on earth did Weehawken make it to the State Championships? No one really knows for sure, but competing at the State level is a DREAM COME TRUE for these boys.
