Fabrice Muamba, a midfielder for Bolton, collapsed during a match at Tottenham on Saturday and medics appeared to be trying to resuscitate him before the match was abandoned. Muamba fell to the ground in the 41st minute with no players around him. The FA Cup game was immediately stopped. Medics rushed onto the pitch with a defibrillator and treated the 23-year-old Muamba, pumping his chest for about six minutes of treatment.
