A senior couple's tragic car accident, video images of which have shocked South Korean drivers for the past week, is now getting government attention. On Monday, the Ministry of Land, Transport & Maritime Affairs said it launched an investigation into a sudden acceleration claim that led to the accident in Daegu on May 6. Video evidence appears to show that the couple's Hyundai Sonata suddenly accelerated and, after 13 seconds of maneuvering by the driver to avoid other cars, wound up rear-ending a car at a stoplight at a speed of 130 km/h, or about 80 miles per hour. That set off a chain reaction accident that involved several other vehicles and injured 17 people. The couple in the car, a man and woman in their 60s, were on their way to a department store, their son, who asked to be identified only by his family name Kwon, said in an interview on Monday. Mr. Kwon extracted the video of the accident from a "black box" used to record information in the event of a crash. Work began 5/2/2012 at roughly 1PM Work completed 5/17/2012 at 11:20PM Video 100% Rendered at 8:21AM Font is Orator STD Final filesize 6.03GB in Quicktime .mov 3D Scene file size 500MB All physics calculations baked This is the longest I have ever worked on a single 3D scene. Nearly 3 weeks of planning and creating to get this out. The storyboard was never actually finished. After I had gotten the "Wreck the Scene" part done in 3D, I baked the calculations and just went with it. On the storyboard there are blanks for the following 2 verses. Final render time was exactly 6 hours, 16 minutes, and 21 seconds. Render did not fail this time. I began rendering it at 2AM and went straight to sleep. I woke up at 5:20AM to make sure the render did not fail. Luckily, it was still chugging along gingerly. I recently leveled an orc mage from 1-85 in order to get my guild the "Classy Orcs" achievement and decided to fraps the whole thing and condense it into a time-lapse. In this format, every minute is condensed to one second, thus every minute of video contains one hour of leveling. My final time was right around an hour, which was convenient, ha! Yes, I used heirlooms, used a guide, got guildies to help me with group quests, and died a little more often than I'd have liked, but it was about the time-lapse, not about pro'ing it up, so I'm okay with it. This is what this short video is showing. After making the egg sack, she dedicates another hour in putting up a strong framework of silk, protecting it from wasps and ants. (Another longer vid of another spider doing the same process coming soon.) After the spider finished her 10 hours of persistent hard working and effort, she decided to gaurd the egg sack for another 3 hours before she goes back to her routine of doing it all over again. Unfortunately, the eggs didn't make it. The sack got destroyed by a bird in the middle of winter, and paraseptic wasps got to it. THESE SPIDERS ARE HARMLESS, BLIND (for the most part), and NOT DEADLY (unless you have really severe reaction to bug bites, but this spider is still quite unlikely to bite you.). The contraction began sunday morning when I woke up 8 am, Hubby was ready to go to work, I did not told him that I am already in labor , i just thought that it might be false alarm and I dont want him to be absent at work, so he went to work that day, I did the householdchores like ordinary days, Around 9:30 the contraction began to be painful same like you have heavy monthly period , I decided to take note the time I am suffering contraction, every 20 minutes I was contracting, Hubby called when he arrived at work, I told him I was in labor every 20 minutes, we decided not to panic since I was alone with Cedric and Grandma is at supermarket .
