When I say "Old" I mean this is the Pre-Patch version of Æod. I kept it as sort of a "goof off" version where I could mess about with the weapons. Since I ran into a bit of a problem with the new Æod, I decided to go back and play this version again. I may use it for "Doom December" when the time comes. One of the new features of AEod 6 is "Modes" where you run through as normal, but you can set the theme of monsters you fight. Example: Want to fight Duke Nukem Monsters? Set it to Duke Nukem mode! Half Life? There's both 1 and 2! Maybe you want a Magic and Fantasy style or a Alien style? Those are there! I think I'll try a few demo runs with each mode, show you what they're like! A twisted and dark take on the Sci-Fi universe. Combines Blood, Shadow Warrior, Quake and Rise of the Triad together. I did this long before I did the Quake 4 mode Video. Been having some problems with lag recently, it's partly because my computer is pretty old, I've had it for Years now. Also, AEod is pretty big... so sometimes I get a slowdown. Going to record a quick run-through of all the DooM campaigns in Aeons of Death style! Will not be doing commentary since to me the sound is very important in this mod because you get to hear all those nostalgic voices and sounds from good old games. I was going to play on the hardest difficulty but it was WAY too hard since monsters respawn and I literally got a boss in my back each and every time.
