It's stupid, but we did it - and managed to win. The negative 200 % recharge setup is not recommended, it's not a good setup at all. We just tried it because we wanted to know if we could pull it off - and as it turns out, we can. Reave has a 22 second recharge with negative 200 % power recharge. The 'platform ambush' fight of the 'disabled Collector Ship' mission is generally regarded as one of the toughest in Mass Effect 2. I'd tend to agree with that - I was so battered by my first experience with that fight at Insanity, that from then on I used the Cain to wipe out the first two platforms, on subsequent Insanity playthroughs. Ultimately, though, success in that fight comes down to sound tactical play - when I started my first Insanity Adept run, I decided that I'd not use the Cain during that fight. Less cheese, better tactical play, basically. And since it was to be my first Cainless run, I figured I'd record the attempt, for later review (see what went right, what went wrong, etc). And here it is... I like this vid, in that there is some sound Adepting to be had, but also some silly mistakes that show how quickly the fight can get away from you if you aren't on the ball. It also ably demonstrates how powerful Adepts can be. Screw the haters; ME2 Adepts rock :-) This was actually the third attempt at the fight. The first attempt ended very quickly, when I just completely ballsed things up and got stun-locked. The second attempt was even lamer; no enemies left bar the two Scions, and I managed to eat a double-Shockwave while moving to new cover. Yes, half the runtime of the vid is spent in the radial menus. I prefer using them for 'steerable talents'. When I'm in-game I guess I mentally edit out those pauses, and everything feels hectic and exciting. *Watching .... + Informações

Adepts are biotic specialists, capable of disabling and killing enemies with raw biotic power. While they lack advanced combat training, they are the best at defeating enemies without firing a shot. They are outfitted with L5x implants that can spawn micro-singularity, damaging enemies and pulling them into the air.. + Informações

Mass Effect Multiplayer Solo : Drell Adept : Reapers Note on Pull: Although it can have its uses, I have found that the advantages to having it don't supersede the advantages of forgoing it for the passive skills or for reave and cluster grenade. It really comes down to personal preference. Shoot for as high of a power recharge bonus as possible. With the weapons I'm using in this video, I get a 200% bonus. I go back and forth between the Mattock and the Avenger. The Mattock brings me to a 185% (thereabouts) bonus, but the added firepower makes up for that. Basic strategy: Keep Reave on CD. Try to avoid direct fire (even if you take the damage protection line in Reave, you are still easily one of the (if not "the") squishiest classes). Use cluster grenades if you can take out several enemies, damage barriers/armor, emergency escape tactic. They are best combined by using area reave first. Try to replenish your grenades as often as possible. Take advantage of your speed. Even though sometimes you'll want the infiltrator to cap some objectives, it may be in the team's best interest for you to try to get there first so that you can cap them as quickly as possible. If you start taking too much fire, let the infiltrator take over and cover them. A good-exceptional drell adept is a very useful part of any group, but is best paired with an area throw. My personal fastest gold clear was two drell adepts, a sentinel (i don't recall the race), and a salarian infiltrator. With the .... + Informações
