"Ratchet Be Her Superhero" was completed February 18th, 2008. My lack of internet connection forced me to wait until this time to post it. I thank my cousin Terri and her roomie Ashley for letting me use their internet connection. The creation and completion of this was long and grueling. Considering this was my first MOTION music video, I feel quite proud. I mainly work with image scans and create slideshow music videos, so this was a completely new experience for me. (Unfortunately, I did not approve the quality of my slideshow music videos and didn't wish to share them.) I ultimately made it much more difficult for myself by limiting my choice of video clips down to the one episode. I dislike it when the same clip is over-used way too much, so I had to go against my taste and used a few clips more then once. Truth be told, most of the video clips and music that ran in sync was accidental. It wasn't until I watched the reel first time around did I notice. Further editing simply helped the video out. Regrettably the static noise during 0:49 could not be removed no matter how much time I attempted to edit it out. I chose to leave dialogue in at certain points because I wanted to help fill in the blanks for those who did not watch the episode, and to add drama. It took me a while to choose the proper volume for the dialogue, but even now I'm still uncertain. The song choice was from the limited library I have on my computer.
