Presented by Diarna (www.diarna.org): A silent walk through the abandoned Jewish cemetery of Ighil n'Ogho reveals human bones, shattered graves, and one remarkably intact headstone in Hebrew. The village is located in the Talouine region of southern Morocco and once had a large Jewish population. Many of the local Jews were merchants and itinerant peddlers - often of saffron, a regional specialty. This tour begins at the oldest end of the cemetery, where what seems to have once been a small ritual room now shows evidence of local Amazigh (Berber) women ablutions; the women wash themselves inside in the superstitious hope of getting pregnant. Note the clothing, water-jugs, and even plastic soap bottles scattered throughout the cemetery. Moving beyond this ritual "room," what appear to be random rocks are actually grouped into clumps marking centuries-old graves. Smaller clumps may indicate the graves of children. Abusive experiments are believed to have been conducted on the patients when the asylum originally opened in 1929, and most agree that such abuse would be the reason for paranormal activity at this location. This was the Mount Nebo Presbyterian Church and cemetery in Lancaster County PA. Built in 1854, it's in a valley and down a dirt road seemingly miles from anything, although there are farms surrounding the land. The church was abandoned in 1915 until it was finally torn down in the mid 90's. The cemetery is very old. The oldest stone we could read dated back to 1811. I had not been there for almost ten years and was surprised to find that someone was just laid to rest there in the summer of 2008. The most recent grave I found before that was 1988 although there may have been one more recent that I missed. I'm glad we got the footage of the church when we did in '94 because it was only a few years after that we lost the church all together. I discovered this old stone resting beside a trash burning pit on a deserted beach in Shimizu, Japan near the end of the Miho peninsula. Though I am not certain, the stone appears to be either an old grave marker or highway marker. The area where I found the stone was once the site of a very old fishing community where the artist Hiroshige Ando described enjoying a pleasant meal of baked salt fish. This famous artist would come to this site to view and produce art images of Mt. Fuji for use in his famous woodblock prints. He once described the area around this beach as the best location in Japan for viewing Mt. Fuji.. + Informações

This is night number one of my investigation of Cheesman Park located in the Capital Hill neighborhood near downtown Denver,Colorado. *NOTE: The evidence I'm presenting is the evidence for which I cannot offer a rational explanation. I try very hard to debunk everything I catch.At Cheesman, I caught a lot of audio and photographic anomalies over the course of three nights, but I cut out the stuff that I could not be 100% convinced was paranormal. I practice very ethical investigations. Cheesman Park today is a beautiful, large urban park enjoyed by hundreds every day. It borders the lovely Denver Botanical Gardens and even has a Greek style Acropolis where you can enjoy astonishing views of the Rocky Mountains. But it also has a dark and sad history. In the late 19th century it was known as the Mt. Prospect Cemetery . The cemetery was neglected for years. The fast growing city finally decided to turn the prime real estate into a public park. Many of the bodies were transferred to other cemeteries. But soon the grisly job was botched by a greedy contractor who was paid by the coffin. He was caught putting parts of remains in several different coffins to make more money. So the job was canceled and it was decided that the remaining graves would forever remain. There are an estimated 1500 to 3000 graves remaining underneath the park. Some estimates go as high as 5000. Japanese people are cremated after death and their ashes are traditionally interred in special family graves within the grounds of Buddhist temples. Such family graves are normally very well maintained by surviving family members. However, as time goes by many such graves are forgotten and even abandoned as family lines die away and people move or marry into new families. Real estate is dear in Japan even within the grounds of Buddhist temples, and most temples will have a special area within their grounds for the collection of abandoned family grave stones. These collections are sometimes stacked rather unceremoniously in a out-of-the-way corner of the temple while other temples may choose to place the forgotten stones in a high visibility area to invite the attention and possible prayers of those whose kind hearts go out to the forgotten souls. Buddhist statues are often found amidst these old grave markers giving the spirits some blessed company as they while away the centuries. This short video showcases one such collection of grave stones located at the entrance to a Buddhist temple near our home. The grave markers and statues form a small four-sided pyramid with a large monument situated at the top. Many of the grave stones are so old that the carved names have been completely worn away by weathering.. + Informações
