I only wanted to film all Amtrak trains today on the Surfliner and the Coast Starlight here. I barely make it to Burbank for to 768, good thing it does stop In Downtown Burbank. 1. Amtrak 768: Again, just arrived for this one, so I got from the bridge above the tracks. Cab Car #6907 leading with new number boards and pushed by F59PHI #462. 2. Amtrak 763: F59PHI #464, Cab Car #6901 (with the loud K5LA :D) 3. Amtrak Coast Starlight #14: P42DC #167 leading, P42 #129 trailing and Cascades F59PHI #467 trailing the P42DC's. LOL...Excuse my finger blocking the lens at the beginning of this one :PI never realized I did that until review the shot of the Starlight. 4. Amtrak 774: A short clip here, Cab Car #6904 (eww, bad horn) and F59PHI #456. 5. Amtrak #769: F59PHI #452 and Cab Car #6951 6. Amtrak #777 (Triple 7's): F59PHI #454, Cab Car #6903. There was one incident in Van Nuys which involved Metrolink #110 hitting a person at a crossing, which involved the delays of AMTK 763, 14, and 774 at Burbank Airport. All those trains blocked Burbank Airport station. 2 hours later, they were all able to pass slowly but 763 and 14 were both 2 hours late and 774 was 40 minutes late. The person involved in the incident of SCAX 110 died at the scene. + Informações

On the morning of December 23, 2009, the southbound amtrak coast starlight #11 struck a tree 30 miles south of Dunsmuir which closed rail traffic on the line for about 6 hours. The North #14 held at Redding the Redding Depot until the train could go farther north. This incident caused 7 UP trains to be put in sidings including 2 Intermodel trains for 2-6 hours. #11 got moving southward after sustaining damage, and had a UP Pilot unit #5410 help power the train for the southward trip to Los Angeles.. + Informações
