Bob Sheppard (10/20/1910-7/11/2010). The Yankees paid tribute to Bob's 50th season as public address announcer at Yankee Stadium this day. The event was created and coordinated by PR Director Rick Cerrone and his staff, emceed by Yankee radio announcer John Sterling, and featuring a Bob introduction by Walter Cronkite. Rizzuto, Berra, Murcer, Reggie, along with Bob's children, Paul, Barbara Derenowski, Sister Mary, Chris, and Bob's devoted wife Mary. What a day! Part 1 of 4.
