This is done, again, through the rectangle class, by getting the coordinates of each image as a rectangle and checking when they intersect. Air Inter Flight 148 was a scheduled airline flight on 20 January 1992 that crashed in the Vosges Mountains, near Mont Sainte-Odile, while circling to land at Strasbourg Airport. 87 of the 96 onboard were killed. A longplay of me finishing the US version of Shadow of the Beast for Sega Genesis. EDIT - I just found out I pick up all the life drain objects on the last level! In the Amiga version they look different than normal potions while in this game they look the same so I assumed they were all health potions! Bummer :p I really mess up on the last level as I felt I'd done pretty well up to that point and I wanted to finish it by doing the last part perfectly.. but I guess I got too nervous as I totally messed up.. to the point where I doubted I'd even get through it. But I did :) This is the hardest version of this game I have played - it's quite a bit harder than the Amiga version. The reason is that due to bad porting, this game runs 16.7% faster than it's supposed to. Also, the collision detection is horrible and they even removed health from the castle! It's really frustrating. At times it starts skipping.. this is because I recorded it using FRAPS and at certain points my harddrive started chugging away like crazy. It doesn't happen often though and fortunately not at any critical places in the game as it becomes impossible to play while it's skipping like that.
